Nymbler, the web site developed by Icosystem to help parents-to-be find a name for their baby, made the Time.com 50 Best Websites 2008 list. Nymbler uses Icosystem’s proprietary Hunch Engine(TM) technology for interactive search and design. “We were thrilled to find out that Nymbler made the list” said Eric Bonabeau, Icosystem’s founder and CEO. “We have applied the Hunch Engine(TM) to a variety of interactive design and navigation problems. Icosystem’s Concentric(TM) platform for marketing and advertising planning and strategy was featured in an interview with Maury Giles, head of GSD&M’s accountability and analytics department.

According to the article, Giles said Icosystem’s software allows GSD&M to simulate a population of thousands of consumers.

“Instead of spending million on a campaign you’re not sure is going to work, you can try it and run it … It’s like a simulation of what would happen if we spend this amount of money on this message with this group of people.”
