Icosystem unveils Hunch Engine™ at Emerging Technology Conference
Icosystem Corporation Press Release
Cambridge, MA - 7 March 2006
Eric Bonabeau, Chief Scientific Officer of Icosystem, today unveiled Icosystem's proprietary Hunch Engine™ technology during the O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference in San Diego, CA.
The Hunch Engine™ uses interactive evolutionary algorithms to help users navigate large spaces, combining the ability of computers to sift through massive amounts of data and that unique human ability to see "stuff" (sometimes even when stuff is not there) with their right brains. The hunch engine enables a form of "high-throughput screening by humans."
Bonabeau demonstrated applications of the Hunch Engine™ in several areas, including text visualization, drug discovery, photo searches. Find out more about the Hunch Engine™ on our web site.
