We are always looking for highly talented Java developers to help
us engineer industrial strength computer simulations for our
leading-edge research and consulting projects. You will work on client
engagements and internal research assignments in small teams with our
scientists and experienced modelers in a creative and highly
collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have some industrial Java experience, internships, and demonstrated academic excellence:
- A minimum of BS/CS or an equivalent degree
- Solid knowledge of Java, OOP, design patterns, and other software engineering practices is essential
- UI experience, scripting languages, SQL / DB platforms
- Ability to take responsibility for the analysis, design, implementation, and packaging of the programming code for fast paced projects in its entirety from start to finish
- Self-motivation, independence, and attention to detail
- Interest in and desire to learn about technologies like agent-based modeling, artificial life, evolutionary computing, neural networks, dynamical systems, and machine learning
